Should there be Christian media or Christians in the media? Is it better to be a Rebecca St James or a Guy Sebastian?

I reckon there should be both Christian media and Christians in the media. We want to be reaching out and setting an example through as many mediums as we can. It is just a thing of responsibility in using these. Anyone who is using the talents God has given them and is acknowledging that those talents are from God have hit it on the head. I think both Rebecca St James and Guy Sebastian have the right idea.

I’ve listened to Rebecca’s music and from my point of view see a girl with a strong light leading her life and a person with every intention to do the work of God. The world’s demands on people’s lives and talents can often lead to pressure into doing things that may compromise this relationship—as with the talent show Guy chose to be on. I feel he would have been doing better by simply helping out with the song service at his home church. Granted, he has talent and more talent like his is needed in spreading God’s love, but to get into such an industry I think a person’s relationship with God must be strong and built on a solid foundation for that person to be ready
