Ten Who Came back

Ten Who Came Back by Tim Lale and Pat Habada tells the stories of 10 people who, for a variety of reasons, left the church and then came back. The list for leaving is long, falling into general categories like dating/marrying a non-Christian, political viewpoints, the “world” and more. With a list like that, one would think coming back was impossible, yet Lale shares stories of real people’s experiences. Their reasons for coming back to church are more compelling than you would imagine.
Stories include those of Elizabeth, who found safety in the church after an abusive marriage, and Jeff, a young factory worker who looked for love outside the church (and found it), yet came back because he just knew it was right.
What makes them come back? Love, prayer, friendship, the truth, and genuine happiness. Ten Who Came Back challenges the reader to make their church an environment where people can come “back” to and feel God’s love.
