A collection of challenging and inspiring experiences, Stories from Around the World will walk you through the Lord’s work. Using a diversity of individuals, the Matthew 28:19, 20 message of making disciples of all the world comes alive.
Each chapter introduces a different Christian charity (Tearfund, Telling the Truth, Send the Light Ltd, OM India, Zondervan, Samartian’s Purse, Hodder and Stoughton, Care for the Family, Signpost International, and Faithworks), giving a brief introduction of their work in different countries with numerous stories and examples. “The church has an indispensable role to play in building communities and providing welfare up and down our land” (page 197).
HIV/AIDS victims in Africa, poverty, political unrest, sharing one’s faith, miracles and more; these stories will encourage every reader to step into their own community and live the life, and walk the talk.
